The Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall reflects the waves of the Elbe. Everything flows and connects. Dresden and Hamburg, two elective relatives on Germany’s most beautiful river, are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their town twinning this year. Be there when, on 3 October, a top international cellist from Dresden joins Hamburg’s famous up-and-coming orchestra in Hamburg’s Elbe Philharmonic Hall.
Jan Vogler makes the Elbphilharmonie sound – together with the Dresden Festival Orchestra he founded under the direction of Josep Caballé Domenech.
Another highlight of the evening: Silbermond makes his debut at the Elbphilharmonie, and the Dresden Echo Ensemble – six young music ambassadors trained in the famous Dresden Kreuzchor – dissolve the boundaries between classical and pop.
