The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will host the European Culture Awards Gala 2024

On June 7, 2024, the European Cultural Prize Gala will be held at the Philharmonie Luxembourg for the first time. In times like these, what could be a better place than this country in the middle of Europe, bordering Belgium, France and Germany? The European spirit of free culture, humanity, humanism and cosmopolitanism lives here once again.

The gala combines all of these values with first-class culture and international artists in a broad spectrum between classical and modern, combined with extraordinary crossover performances. To achieve this, the European Cultural Forum relies on concentrated female power: more and more desks are being occupied by excellent female conductors like Alondra de la Parra. The Mexican and Berliner by choice will make her debut at the European Cultural Awards ceremony in the Grand Duchy and with the host Lëtzebuerger Philharmoniker, who will be honored with the award that evening. The Vienna Choir Girls, who have been the female counterpoint to the famous Vienna Boys' Choir for 20 years, are guests for the first time. Both ensembles will receive the European Young Talent Award 2024. Advance ticket sales have begun.
