Two strong women unite two worlds
Pop meets classical: Luxembourg's great ESC hope Tali Golergant brings her contest song “Fighter” to the gala stage of the Luxembourg Philharmonic on June 7th. With this title, TALI will ensure that their home country is properly represented at the Eurovision Song Contest in May in Malmö for the first time in over 30 years. Across genres, she praised another strong woman of music at the celebrity-studded gala for the European Cultural Awards: Lisa Batiashvili.
A particularly bright star in the violin sky for over two decades and in demand by the best orchestras worldwide, the Georgian star violinist is committed to supporting young people in her homeland's music scene and founded her own foundation in 2021 to support young, highly talented people from her homeland support financially. For her commitment, Batiashvili will receive one of the coveted European Cultural Awards 2024. We have always set standards to break down the traditional concept of culture across generations: both artists will perform for the first time together with the Orchester Philharmonique du Luxembourg, which will be honored together with the Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra .
