About Us

The European Cultural Forum emerged from the support association of the European Cultural Foundation Pro Europa, which was founded on August 1, 2011 on the initiative of the founding President of the European Cultural Foundation Pro Europa, Dr. Ernst Seidel was founded in Dresden. This created the opportunity to bundle civil society commitment between art, education and business across borders in a larger European network.

United in diversity is one of the guiding principles of the European Cultural Forum and guides our actions. Europe's cultural heritage is a significant and indispensable part of our common identity, the preservation and development of which demands our permanent commitment. As the heirs of our European cultural heritage, it is necessary in the here and now to preserve history, to actively shape the future and to make cultural commonalities audible and visible.

Europe needs renewal. More than ever, a broad social discourse about European values ​​and goals is being initiated today. How do we want to live in Europe in the future and how much freedom do we need? The aim of the association is to give active impulses to the lively dialogue between the European states and regions and thus to contribute to a cultural exchange in Europe that accompanies politics and promotes communication. The company, based in Berlin and Dresden, works exclusively for the benefit of the public.
The purpose of the company is realized through the realization of the following individual projects:

  • Organization of musical events and competitions that serve to promote young people in the cultural field

JOB DESCRIPTION

What does the European Cultural Forum do? We are a Europe-wide cultural institution that implements the following individual projects: Planning and organization of the "European Culture Prize" as a TV event, organization of musical events, concerts and competitions that serve to promote young talent in the cultural field.

For the area of ​​project management, we are looking for young students interested in culture or young professionals with conceptual thinking, a high level of commitment and the ability to work independently and organize themselves. You can expect 3 months with varied projects and tasks.

As part of the internship, you will work in our small, dynamic team in the conception, marketing and implementation of our events. You will gain insight into the various interesting areas of activity in the event industry. You create presentations and concepts, conduct general correspondence and are responsible for collecting and maintaining the relevant data.
Our small team is characterized by fun and passion for what we do. We stand for curiosity, interest and willingness to perform with the goal of personal development. Everyone can contribute themselves and their ideas.
