About Us

The European Cultural Forum emerged from the support association of the European Culture Foundation “Pro Europa”, which was founded on the 1st of August 2011 through the initiative of the founder president of the European Culture Foundation “Pro Europa”, Ernst Seidel in Dresden . With that the possibility was created to work in a greater European network civic engagement between art, education and economy to bundle across borders.

In variety united belongs to the guiding principles of the European Cultural Forum and directs our actions. Europe's cultural heritage is an essential and indispensable part of our common identity, which conservation and evolution our permanent engagement demands. As heirs of our European Cultural Heritage, it is required in the here and now to preserve history, actively sharpening the future and to make cultural similarities audible and visible.

Europe needs change. More than ever will be initiated today a big social debate about European values ​​and goals. How do we want to live in future in Europe and how much freedom we need? The association's main goal is to give active impulses to the dialogue between the European countries and regions, to improve an accompanying political communication and promoting cultural exchange in Europe. The association based in Berlin and Dresden is a non-profit organization.
The objects of the company are fulfilled by the following projects:

Job description

What does the European Cultural Forum do? We are working at a Europewide cultural institution, which is realizing the following individual projects: Planning and organization of the "European Cultural Award" as TV event, organization of musical events, concerts and competitions, which serve for promoting young talents in the cultural field.
In the area of ​​project management we are looking for young, culturally interested students or career starters with conceptional thinking, a high level of commitment and the ability to work independently and to organize themselves. You can expect 3 months with varied projects and tasks.
In the framework of your internship you will work in our small, dynamic team within the conception, marketing and implementation of our events. You will get an insight into the different interesting assignments of the event industry. You will create presentations and concepts, conduct the common correspondence and are responsible for the recording and maintenance of the relevant data.
Fun and passion in what we do is what distinguishes our team. We stand for curiosity, interest and willingness to perform with the goal of a personal development. Everyone can bring themselves or their ideas in.
